Encouraging commenting is the purpose of allowing dofollow links. What should be stopped is the constant spammers of the blog just to gain Google juice or for link building. This plugin will change rel=”nofollow external” into rel=”external”.
Am wondering if “external” is still needed. Might affect Google’s pagerank as well.

Lucia’s Linky Luv is a great plugin. Love how it lets you customize how it will act. I use it on 3 of my blogs and am planning on adding it to the few that don’t have it yet. Once I have enough daily comments to warrant it that is.
